moral compass, 2024
Selected for Fibre Arts Australia: Art Textile Biennale 2025
selected for Surface Design Association, USA, online exhibition 2024
‘Moral Compass’ addresses the unprecedented resurgence of antisemitism since the Holocaust, focusing on attacks against Jewish people in public spaces, places of worship, workplaces, on holiday, and through social media. The piece highlights incidents occurring globally today. It questions whether society has lost its moral compass where respect for individual identity and heritage coexists with the normalisation of antisemitism. The presence of three intact compasses serves as a stark reminder that this artwork remains unfinished, as incidents continue to arise.

The world is a better place because of your moral compass and brilliant artwork
What is going through the thinking process of those individuals who hate so much that they are driven to violence?
These are so shocking. And so vital that these threats and acts of bloody violence are recorded
Disgusting utterances from the ignorant. Thank you for telling the stories
The genie of hatred is out of the bottle
Sorry, saddened and ashamed for all those who have hatred. I have no tolerance for racism
