recipe for disaster, 2020

selected

Words relating to Jewish customs, traditions, heritage, history, and festivals which are always accompanied by food, are cut from an old cookery book once belonging to the artist’s mother.

There is something quite devastating in cutting out words and seeing what is lost, and what remains doesn’t make sense.

When you remove all sections from a culture, what are you left with?
