THE MEANS TO AN END, 2020
Das Mittel zum Zweck
This artwork is a passage through time from the 1930s, Kristallnacht and the Holocaust, continuing to the present day where antisemitism is proliferating globally.
The persecution of the Jewish population in Germany began as early as 1933 when Adolf Hitler came to power. Between 1933 and 1945 two thousand Nazi anti-Jewish decrees came into effect….and became the means to an end.
Sadly, in the 21st century, Jewish people continue to be terrorised, either in person, on social media or at their place of worship.

COMMENTS
Utterly chilling message
This is truly demanding, but an illustration of how art can go straight to the target
Beautiful and poignant work
Chilling and terrifying
It seems wrong to hit the ‘like’ button somehow for works that explore such a dark history
Your work is always hugely thought provoking, well researched and meticulously detailed
Superb work, very shocking and moving
Very powerful work. These things need to be remembered
There are those who dismiss the rise of antisemitism still
It’s saddening to see the description for Jews couched in the universal language of racism as in the term ‘vermin’
Powerful indeed
This work encapsulates the history! Such power, the Pages take one right back - gives me the shudders
